Myanmar party hopes envoy visit will revive talks - International Herald Tribune: "YANGON, Myanmar: Myanmar's main opposition party said Sunday that it hopes a visit this week by a U.N. special envoy will help restart stalled talks between pro-democracy leader Aung San Suu Kyi and the ruling military junta.
U.N. special envoy Ibrahim Gambari, who is promoting national reconciliation and democratic reform in Myanmar, is to spend five days in the country starting Monday."
